Joining Mega Marathoners!

1. You need to run a minimum 25 Half Marathons, 25 Full Marathons or 25 Ultra Marathons.

2. To qualify for higher tiers, for example the "50" Medals then you of course then need to run that number of events.

3. All members are vetted, so we need to see a list of the events that you've completed. You can download a blank Excel Spreadsheet template here which has an "Example" tab too to start you off.

4. Email that to us for vetting at admin@mega-marathoners.com .

5. Once that's vetted we'll give you the OK for ordering.

6. We'll either mail you your items within 7 days or if we're going to see you at an SVN event in the near future we'll hand them to you personally!

Definition of a Half Marathon

1. Have an identifiable race director, advertised at least 30 days beforehand.

2. Have at least 25 participants finish the event who must be able to take part at their own speed. (i.e. a group walk or run doesn't count)

3. Race results or a record of race completion must be published or made available either online or provable (i.e. a finishers medal or certificate made available on request).

4. The participant must have completed the whole race as defined in the event rules, abided by the event rules and have completed the whole course for the race to count. The declared race distance counts not the distance your legs have covered. (i.e. if you get lost at a marathon and complete 29 miles you can't count that as an ultra)

5. The distance covered must be a minimum of 13 miles and a maximum of 25.9 miles.

6. For multi-stage events as long as individuals are identified in the results along with the distances covered then each stage shall count as a separate event.

7. For relay/team events as long individuals are identified in the results along with the distances covered then that will count.

8. The event must hold a permit (issued by a body such as UKA/ARC/TRA) and/or have third party Public Liability Insurance.

Definition of a Full Marathon

1. As the definition of a Half Marathon but the participant must cover a declared distance of 26 - 27 miles.

Definition of an Ultra Marathon

1. As the definition of a Half Marathon but the participant must cover a distance of over 27 miles.

2. The event need only have 25 starters.
